Data deletion
Effective October 17, 2026
You can remove GridSocial's access to your ad accounts at any time and ask us to delete the data we hold about you. This page explains how. It applies to data received from Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft, and to your GridSocial account.
1. Remove GridSocial's access
Revoking access stops GridSocial from reading or changing your ad accounts straight away.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (on some accounts this is Apps and websites), or open facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools.
- Find GridSocial and select Remove.
- If you connected through Meta Business Suite, also check Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps and remove GridSocial there.
Google Ads
- Open myaccount.google.com/connections while signed in with the Google account you used to connect.
- Select GridSocial, then Delete all connections you have with GridSocial.
Microsoft Advertising
- For a personal Microsoft account, open account.live.com/consent/Manage. For a work or school account, open myapps.microsoft.com.
- Find GridSocial and select Remove or Revoke permissions.
Revoking access does not by itself delete data we have already synced. To have that deleted, send a request as described below.
2. Ask us to delete your data
Email support@viableteck.ai with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- the email address of your GridSocial account, or the one you used to sign up for early access;
- whether you want everything deleted, or only the data for a particular client or ad account;
- for Meta, your Facebook name or app-scoped user ID; for Google or Microsoft, the account email you connected with, if different.
If your ad account was connected by an agency, you can also ask that agency, and we will act on its instructions. Agency administrators can ask us to delete a single client or the whole agency account.
3. What we delete
- access and refresh tokens for the connected platforms;
- synced ad account details, campaigns, ad sets, ads and performance metrics;
- creatives you uploaded;
- change drafts and approvals;
- your profile and agency membership, if you ask for your account to be closed;
- early-access sign-up details.
4. What we may keep
- a minimal record of the request and its completion, so we can show that we handled it;
- security and audit logs, kept for up to 12 months and then deleted;
- information we must keep by law, such as billing records, for as long as the law requires.
Encrypted backups containing deleted data are overwritten within 30 days.
5. How long it takes
We confirm we have received your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days. We email you when it is done. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account owner before deleting anything.
6. Data held by the platforms
Deleting your data from GridSocial does not delete your campaigns, ads or other data from Google, Meta or Microsoft. To manage that data, use each platform's own settings and privacy tools.
